New venue for practise

As fun and instructive it has been to practise on a slightly bumpy, very dirty, and partly muddy lawn, I'm sure everyone will be pleased to hear that Susan has found a new venue for us to practise in, namely the PJ Olivier Art Centre, close to Checkers, on Bloem Street:

At least, that's what I think, please correct me if I've misunderstood something :)

Again, please remember that practise tomorrow Friday will be the Aulão in Cape Town, regular practise in the Art Centre on next Tuesday.

This Friday

On Friday, there will be no practise outside Academia. Instead, those who want and can are invited to join the Aulão at Observatory Community Recreation Centre from 18-20. Pasting the mail most of you got from Beleza:

I won't be able to teach this Friday because every last Friday of the month
we organise a huge capoeira Class in Cape Town called *Aulão.* It supposed
to happen last Friday but we had to pros pond to the Friday coming*. *You
are welcome to join this class**.

Aulão (huge capoeira class) only happen once a month on last Friday of that
month with the objective to gather in one class all Abadá-Capoeira classes
in Cape Town. It includes all classes running in Cape Town.

Aulão are held in Observatory Community Recreation Centre on every Last
Friday of the Month.

First Post!

Greets, all capoeristas and other visitors!

This is supposed to be a blog for the Capoeira club in Stellenbosch, where updates about all manner of things happening will be posted.

At the moment, we practise on the lawn outside Academia student residence, behind the Engineering department of Stellenbosch University, Bosman Street, but according to rumours, we will start practising at the Art School close to Checkers starting next week. More on that later.

We practise on Tuesdays, 17:15-18:20 and on Fridays, 17:15-19:15
